This Privacy Policy explains how the UpMixa app (“App”) handles information when you use it.

What the App does

UpMixa is a video player that lets you open and play video/stream links (including YouTube playback) and optionally save favorite links on your device.

Information you provide

Links you add or share into the App: video/stream URLs and optional titles you enter or share from other apps.

Favorites you save: the App stores saved titles and URLs locally on your device (in an on-device database) so you can access them later.

We do not require account creation and we do not ask you for your name, email, phone number, contacts, or precise location.

Information collected automatically (third‑party services)

The App uses third-party services for advertising and analytics. These services may collect information automatically, such as:

Advertising ID (AAID) and other device/app identifiers (as permitted by your device settings)
IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), device type/model, OS version
App activity (e.g., screens/events), ad impressions, ad clicks, performance and diagnostics

Advertising (Ads)

The App shows ads using AppLovin (MAX) and may use mediation partners such as:

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads
Unity Ads
Vungle (via mediation)

These ad partners may use your information to provide personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your settings, consent (where applicable), and regional laws.

Analytics

The App uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand app usage and improve stability and performance.

How your playback links are used

When you play a link, the App connects to the third-party server that hosts the stream/content (for example, a video host or YouTube). That server will receive standard connection information (such as your IP address and device/network details) and may set its own cookies/identifiers or apply its own tracking according to its policies. We do not control those third-party services.

Permissions the App uses

The App requests only:

Internet access (to load streams and ads/analytics)
Network state (to detect connectivity)

The App does not request permissions for contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, or device storage/media access.

Data sharing

We may share information only through the third-party SDKs used for ads and analytics described above. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Favorites (titles/URLs) are stored locally and remain until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App.
Data collected by third parties (ads/analytics) is retained according to their retention policies.

Your choices & controls

Personalized ads: You can limit ad personalization or reset your Advertising ID in Android settings (Google/Ads settings vary by device).
Remove local favorites: Delete favorites in the App or uninstall the App to remove local data.
External content: If you don’t want to contact a particular stream/provider, do not open their link.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Also note that some media links on the internet may use non-encrypted HTTP depending on the source; use trusted sources when possible.

Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the age defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at the same link used in the Play Store listing and/or inside the App.
